- 1 prepared pizza dough
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 lemons thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (basil, thyme, parsley)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Brush the dough with olive oil and evenly spread lemon juice over the surface.
- Arrange lemon slices on top of the dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and chopped herbs over the lemons.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, garnish with additional herbs if desired, and serve hot.

- You can add a drizzle of honey for a sweet contrast.
