  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg

  • 3/4 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup finely chopped apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with apple cider, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in chopped apples.
  6. Spoon batter onto prepared baking sheets and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool completely.
  8. Fill with vanilla cream before serving.
