- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 eggs

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs. In another dish, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken breasts into eggs, then coat with bread crumb mixture.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and brown chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese bubbles and chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

- You can use panko bread crumbs for extra crispiness.
