- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well incorporated.
- Form mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
- Simmer baked meatballs in marinara sauce for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best taste.
