Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk; let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and minced garlic. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth; let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush warm rolls with additional garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
