- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk; let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and minced garlic. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth; let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush warm rolls with additional garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra garlic flavor, add roasted garlic or garlic powder to the dough.
- Serve warm with additional butter or dips.
