Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Draw a 9-inch circle on the parchment.
  2. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in vanilla, vinegar, and cornstarch. Spread meringue onto the circle, smoothing the edges.
  4. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off oven and leave the meringue inside to cool completely.
  5. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  6. Just before serving, top the cooled meringue with whipped cream and arrange fresh fruits on top.
