Scale
- 1 pound beef sirloin or tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add sliced beef and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add sliced bell peppers and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir fry until vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- You can substitute ground brown sugar with honey for a different sweetness.
- Ensure beef is sliced thinly for quick cooking and tender texture.
