- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 3 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in vanilla and sour cream.
- Fold in flour, caramel sauce, and chopped chocolate until well combined.
- Pour the batter over the crust and smooth the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes, until the center is set.
- Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Before serving, drizzle with extra caramel and garnish with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- Ensure cream cheese is softened for a smooth batter.
- Can be made a day ahead for better flavor melding.
- Run a knife around the edges before removing the springform for clean slices.
