Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ground beef or chicken in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.
- Mix cooked meat with cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
- Arrange frozen tater tots on top of the meat mixture in a single layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and tots are crispy.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
