- 20 large pasta shells
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 pound scallops, chopped
- 1/2 pound crab meat
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add chopped shrimp and scallops, cook until opaque.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, heavy cream, Parmesan, mozzarella, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Mix seafood into the cheese mixture thoroughly.
- Stuff each shell with the seafood-cheese filling and arrange in a baking dish.
- Pour remaining sauce over stuffed shells, top with extra cheese if desired.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute crab meat with cooked lobster or other seafood.
- For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
