- 1 lb sliced beef or chicken
- 4 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add diced potatoes and cook until golden and crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Push potatoes to the sides of the skillet and add sliced meat, cooking until browned.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, add thyme, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5-8 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For added flavor, sauté some mushrooms or bell peppers with the potatoes.
- You can substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
