- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (16 oz) gnocchi
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large pot until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the bacon drippings, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and translucent.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in milk and shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until cheese melts.
- Cook gnocchi in boiling water separately until they float, then drain and add to the soup.
- Mix in crispy bacon, season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.

- For extra flavor, sauté onions until golden before adding broth.
- You can substitute milk with heavy cream for a richer texture.
