Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Optional: chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and ginger in a bowl. Add chicken pieces and marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- Pour remaining marinade into the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Serve hot over steamed rice or your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- Marinate the chicken for at least 15 minutes for best flavor.
- Use chicken breasts for a leaner option; adjust cooking time accordingly.
- Ensure the sauce reduces enough to coat the chicken evenly.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds for extra flavor and presentation.
