Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into strips
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions
- Start by slicing the chicken into thin strips. Toss with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and honey. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the same skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet, toss to coat, and cook for an additional minute until heated through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot with steamed rice or other sides.
Notes
- For a healthier version, bake the chicken or use an air fryer like Ninja Air Fryer Pro Crisp & Roast.
- Add crushed red pepper flakes to increase spice level.
- Swap chicken with tofu for a vegetarian-friendly variation.
