Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz (340 g) of your favorite pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup Boursin cheese (herb flavor recommended)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until cooked through and golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add Boursin cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat in the creamy garlic sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss until well combined.
- Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk mixed with a thickener.
- You can customize the recipe by adding vegetables like spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or mushrooms.
- Use fresh herbs for a more vibrant flavor.
