Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or special occasions, this recipe elevates your pasta experience with its rich, comforting flavors and easy preparation.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) of your favorite pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Boursin cheese (herb flavor recommended)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until cooked through and golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add Boursin cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat in the creamy garlic sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss until well combined.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk mixed with a thickener.
  • You can customize the recipe by adding vegetables like spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or mushrooms.
  • Use fresh herbs for a more vibrant flavor.
