- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped

- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin

- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Include ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Season with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
- Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.

- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
