Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your favorite)
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips or cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
- Return cooked chicken to skillet, add drained pasta, and toss to coat with sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Sprinkle additional Parmesan and chopped parsley for garnish. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with shrimp, turkey, or plant-based protein.
- Reheat leftovers gently in a skillet or microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk if needed.
- Try adding red pepper flakes or a side of garlic bread for extra flavor.
