- 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or penne)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in milk and shredded cheeses, cook until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and barbecue sauce to the cheese mixture, stir well.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- You can use leftover grilled chicken for extra flavor.
- Adjust the amount of barbecue sauce for desired smokiness.
- Serve with chopped green onions or crispy bacon on top for added texture.
