Delicious slow-cooker meatballs smothered in a flavorful sweet chili sauce, perfect for dinner or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place in a slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix sweet chili sauce and soy sauce. Pour over meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until meatballs are cooked through.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For spicier flavor, add a dash of sriracha to the sauce mixture.
