- 1 pound (450g) ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place in a slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix sweet chili sauce and soy sauce. Pour over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until meatballs are cooked through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For spicier flavor, add a dash of sriracha to the sauce mixture.
- Serve with steamed rice or as an appetizer with toothpicks.
