- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Sear pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Mix brown sugar and soy sauce in a small bowl, then pour over pork in the skillet.
- Simmer for 8-10 minutes, basting the chops with the sauce until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can use boneless pork chops if preferred.
- Adjust cooking time for thicker or thinner chops.
- Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
