Ingredients

  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Chex cereal, pretzels, and peanuts.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Let it boil for 4-5 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the cereal mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the mixture on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Let cool completely before breaking into clusters. Store in an airtight container.
