Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and water to make a smooth batter.
- Dip the shrimp into the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the shrimp in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add walnuts to the sauce and cook until toasted and coated.
- Toss the fried shrimp with the honey walnut sauce and walnuts. Serve immediately garnished with additional walnuts or green onions if desired.
