Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and slice the chicken into strips. Mince the garlic and set everything nearby for quick access during cooking.
- In a large skillet or deep frying pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, cumin, and chili powder. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a little more butter if needed, and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Let simmer for 2 minutes to meld flavors.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in heavy cream. Add the linguine, ensuring it is submerged in the sauce. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything to coat evenly with the sauce. Adjust salt and pepper as needed.
- Transfer the pasta to serving bowls, garnish with chopped parsley, and add extra hot sauce or red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
