- 1 pound ground beef or preferred meat
- 4 large potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add sliced potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then cook until golden and tender, about 10 minutes.
- Remove potatoes from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and cook ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Return potatoes to the skillet with the meat and stir to combine.
- Reduce heat, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, cover and cook until cheese melts, about 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
