- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- While baking, heat marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Serve hot with pasta, bread, or as an appetizer garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan.

- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
- Use fresh parsley for a vibrant taste.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
