Ingredients
Scale
- 200g beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 300g fresh egg noodles or rice noodles
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by marinating the sliced beef in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of black pepper. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and grated ginger. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Throw in the cooked noodles and pour the sauce over. Stir well to combine, allowing the sauce to thicken and glaze the beef and noodles evenly.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use a wok or large skillet for even cooking and better heat control.
- Marinate the beef for at least 10 minutes for enhanced tenderness and flavor.
- Finish with sesame seeds or fresh herbs for extra aroma and presentation.
