  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (32 oz) frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef or turkey; cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Drain excess fat and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom or chicken soup and sour cream until well combined. Mix in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the meat mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer the frozen Tater Tots on top, covering all the meat. Sprinkle remaining cheese and paprika over Tater Tots.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until Tater Tots are crispy and golden. Let cool slightly before serving.
