- 1 package (8 oz) of refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and layer half of the dough in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spread half of the chicken mixture over the dough layer.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, and bacon bits (if using) over the chicken mixture.
- Repeat with remaining crescent dough, chicken mixture, cheese, green onions, and bacon.
- Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy your irresistible cheesy chicken crescent roll bake.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked turkey or ham for chicken to customize the dish.
- For a spicier version, add chopped jalapenos or hot sauce.
