Scale
- 1.5 pounds of sirloin or tenderloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the beef pieces generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and sear until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in dried thyme or rosemary if using.
- Return the beef to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For added flavor, use high-quality ingredients and freshly chopped herbs.
- The dish can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in microwave or skillet for best results.
- Freeze leftovers for up to 2-3 months for longer storage.
