  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour in chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, and marinara sauce.
  2. Add diced onion, minced garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it with two forks, and return to the soup.
