- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups uncooked macaroni pasta
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic, cook until softened.
- Transfer beef mixture to the slow cooker, then add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add uncooked macaroni and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until pasta is tender.
- Top with shredded cheese during the last 15 minutes of cooking, let it melt.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Adjust seasoning to taste, adding chili flakes for spice.
- Cook pasta separately if preferred for softer texture.
