- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crock pot. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Cook the macaroni separately according to package instructions.
- Stir cooked pasta into the crock pot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or grated cheese if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef for a lighter version.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
- Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free meal.
