Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture, stirring gently until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing to maintain chewy texture.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or a drizzle of caramel.
- Ensure not to overbake to keep the brownies fudgy and chewy.
- Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days, refrigerate up to 1 week, or freeze for 3 months.
