- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 2 bell peppers, sliced (red and green)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and onions; cook until fragrant and slightly softened.
- Add bell peppers and cook for another 3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return beef to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch if using. Stir well to coat evenly.
- Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through and sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust soy sauce to taste for saltiness.
- You can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for variation.
