- 1 box of yellow cake mix (or cupcake mix for extra fluffiness)
- 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz), softened
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: powdered sugar or whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease your baking dish and prepare all ingredients.
- Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth in a mixing bowl. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle the cake mix over the layer. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture.
- Top with powdered sugar, whipped cream, or garnish with additional strawberries for presentation.
- Use frozen strawberries (thawed and drained) as a substitute for fresh.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage. Thaw before serving.
