Elevate your entertaining with this easy-to-make, crowd-pleasing dish that combines rich flavors with crispy texture, ideal for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 rustic baguette or Italian bread, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
  • 1 cup fresh burrata cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (preferably extra virgin)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Toast for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. This garlic-infused oil adds extra flavor.
  3. In a bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of garlic-infused olive oil. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Once bread is toasted, spoon tomato mixture generously over each slice. Tear burrata cheese into chunks and place on top of the tomatoes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.

Notes

  • Best enjoyed immediately for optimal crunch and freshness.
  • Store leftover tomato mixture separately in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Reassemble just before serving to maintain crispy bread texture.
  • If refrigerating assembled bruschetta, expect some loss of crispness.
