- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 7-8 minutes.
- Mix in tomato sauce, garam masala, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir well, and cook for an additional 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
