Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans of biscuit dough (about 16 oz each)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan well.
- In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and toss in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Layer the coated dough pieces into the prepared bundt pan. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar until smooth. Pour over the dough layers in the pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Drizzle with caramel glaze or extra cinnamon sugar if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the caramel sauce.
- You can substitute pecans with walnuts or leave nuts out altogether for a nut-free version.
