- 4 cups sliced peeled apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: chopped nuts or additional caramel for topping
Instructions
- Spread sliced apples evenly in the crockpot and drizzle with half of the caramel sauce.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the apples and caramel.
- Pour melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours until bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve warm, drizzled with remaining caramel and optional toppings.
Notes
- Feel free to add chopped nuts or a sprinkle of sea salt for extra flavor.
- Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
