- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the crock pot.
- Mix bourbon, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger; pour over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water; add to crock pot to thicken sauce.
- Return chicken to crock pot and toss to coat with sauce.
- Serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

- Adjust sweetness by varying honey amount.
- Best served over steamed rice or vegetables.
