Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour heavy cream over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are partially submerged.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- Ensure chicken is fully cooked through for safety.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
