  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • For the swirl: 2 tablespoons cinnamon mixed with 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, eggs, and sugars until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just incorporated.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture, then add remaining batter on top.
  6. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving with butter.

  • For a richer flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
