A rich and indulgent turtle bars recipe featuring layers of buttery crust, gooey caramel, smooth chocolate, and crunchy pecans make for an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Spread a layer of caramel sauce evenly over the warm crust, then pour and spread sweetened condensed milk over the caramel.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top, followed by chopped pecans.
  4. Bake for an additional 20 minutes until the chocolate is melted and the toppings are bubbly. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

  • For a richer caramel flavor, drizzle additional caramel sauce on top before serving.
