Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free alternative
- 1/2 cup plant-based or regular milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (for added crunch)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions
- Begin by washing and cutting the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, then coat with panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Preheat your air fryer. Lightly spray the cauliflower with cooking spray or brush with olive oil. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 390°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is cooking, warm the buffalo wing sauce slightly if needed, then toss the crispy cauliflower in the sauce for an even coating.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like blue cheese or ranch for a flavorful game-day treat.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle chopped green onions or crumbled blue cheese on top.
- Feel free to experiment with different hot sauces to adjust the spice level.
- Use fresh cauliflower for the best texture and flavor.
