Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir well, bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Slowly whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add oregano, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and spread on pizza dough before adding toppings.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute butter with olive oil and Parmesan with a vegan cheese alternative.
- Adjust garlic to taste for more or less intensity.
- Best used immediately or stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
