Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear chicken in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, grated Parmesan, thyme, and parsley. Stir to combine and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook for an additional 2 minutes to meld flavors.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can add chopped spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and color.
- This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut cream for heavy cream.
