  • 8 oz (225 g) pasta (penne or spaghetti)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes to develop flavors.
