- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well blended and form mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Heat marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with additional parsley or Parmesan.
Notes
- Feel free to add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Use a mixture of beef and pork for extra flavor.
