- 8 ounces spaghetti or your favorite pasta
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta back into the pot, tossing to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked chicken or shrimp for added protein.
- Adjust the cream and cheese to suit your desired sauce thickness.
