- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chicken pieces to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to coat evenly, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
